This has been my first musical experience ever and I can't imagine a better start of a new obsession (it's worth mentioning that I've been waiting since September to come to London for this specific show). The tone has been set from the entrance, the staff extremely helpful and polite, the bar well-equipped, but most importantly - the show itself. From reading the reviews I was expecting a funny show, but to see this perfectly written satire on topics considered taboo nowadays... speechless... tbh the soundtrack plays on repeat (Spooky Mormon Hell Dream will be living in my head rent-free until the day I die or longer).

The show was absolutely hilarious. I didn't believe it could be that good. Generally musicals tend to lack any humour and have drama instead of humour, but book of mormons has good tunes and witty lyrics situation comedy irony and feelings. The cast was lovely they have good voices dance and actvreally well so you get sucked into the story and spend an incredibly enjoyable evening. We gavevthem a standing ovation that they deserved for putting on a fresh energetic show . Thank you!

I was visiting London with my girlfriend and one of my friends went nuts when he found out we didn't have The Book of Mormon in our plans. He bought us tickets and absolutely made us go watch it asap. One week later and I still find myself singing Hasa Diga Ebowai. Incredible! So funny and full of insights. Will recommend it to everyone I know. If you are in doubt if it's worth it, just make yourself a favor and go watch the show!

Well, first of all, it's the second time I'm seeing it because I loved it so much what's unforgettable is number one that performance of the main character in rewrite the book of Mormon? The stupidity and silliness of it and the irreverence to it all. Makes me smile in this world is of sometimes overly politically correctness. The commitment of the performance makes me so committed to wanna come again and again.

Brilliant all round, loved frog fucking scene. Acting superb but Cunningham stood out for me , I was " snorting" with laughter. Our first night in London, pouring rain , what to do? Well, The Book of Mormon sure did it for us, can see why it's played since 2011 and grossed 800 million $$ Bring it to Canada and I'd go again! We are both deaf but withthe clarity and sound we didn't miss a beat. Thankyou.

Lovely performance, the experience overall was great! The cast were absolutely brilliant — huge energy from start to finish, amazing vocals, and the comic timing was spot on. The theatre staff were friendly, everything felt well organised, and the view of the stage was much better than I expected from my seat. If you’re looking for a night, this is definitely worth it.
    • From the minds behind South Park and Avenue Q comes this riotously funny musical that pokes fun at faith, pop culture, and everything in between.

    • A Broadway smash hit and West End favourite, it has swept 9 Tony awards, 4 Olivier awards and a Grammy for the Best Musical Theater album.

    • It is created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, with Frozen’s Robert Lopez (yes, that’s the guy behind "Let It Go").

    • Expect outrageous comedy, brilliant choreography, and songs like Hasa Diga Eebowai. Book The Book of Mormon London tickets to join the irreverent gospel.

    The story

Elder Price is ambitious, clean-cut, and dreaming of Orlando. Elder Cunningham is… not. Together, they're sent to a Ugandan village to spread the word of Mormonism, but warlords, disease, and disbelief stand in their way. As faith clashes with reality, hilarity ensues, and a new kind of gospel emerges. Want to know if every day really can be a latter day? Only one way to find out.

    Critics reviews

    Evening Standard

“Packed with sharp wit, catchy songs, and jaw-dropping satire — it’s a rare musical that leaves audiences laughing nonstop.”

The theatre and its employees were very nice, but the show was fabulous. We are hard pressed to pick a favorite performer because they all worked so well together. Had no idea going in what to expect, in spite of the fact that our kids had seen the show and gave up nothing. We loved it and have highly recommended it since.

This show was fantastic! First of all the theatre was beautiful, comfortable seats and loads of leg room. I had a full view of the stage from my seat so seen absolutely everything. The performance itself was spectacular and the songs were very catchy but if you are easily offended I would avoid this one!

It was the jokes that truly made the show outstanding. My daughter absolutely loved her first theatre experience ......she was laughing, clapping, and completely captivated from start to finish. Watching her enjoy it so much made the whole evening unforgettable.
